CURRENCY

The available currency will be in the form of copper, silver, gold and platinum coins but also includes paper money named marks. Coins are accepted at almost all merchants and marks are accepted in all major cities and most towns. Paper money essentially has no weight, but is perishable.

BANKS

In the world of krona there is a reliable banking system which provides returns on investments and interest payments on money stored in their vaults. This system is run by the Guild of Spectatio and has a location in all major cities and some smaller towns.

SELLING ITEMS

Merchants buy items for 50% of their listed value but this can be altered with a charisma check and further altered by class features, spells and feats. The party can make a reputation for themselves that will spread to the merchants of the lands and affect both the % paid, the chances of a successfully charisma check and willingness to deal with the party.

BANK TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

The banking system also employs a service, which requires an annual fee, which will provide inter-dimensional deposits into your vault. This is achieved through Reigns of the Spectral Pack Animal.

FIREARMS

Krona is a world in a transitional period, magic is still very prominent but the arts of science and engineering have matured; firearms are considered commonplace (As Pathfinder Firearms).

READIEDSWIFT ACTION
Sheathed weapons/shields, arrows in a quiver, items in a bandolier, etc.
CONVENIENTMOVE ACTION
Items in a belt pouch, hanging from a pack, outer pockets of a backpack, etc.
STOREDFULL-ROUND ACTION
Objects which are packed in a backpack or sack.

Magical packs, such as Handy Haversack can alter these rules and the quick draw feat can reduce the action by 1 step (Swift to Free, Move to Swift, Full to Move)

MAGICAL ITEMS

Krona does not follow the same magic item rules as pathfinder’s standard, objects cannot be directly imbued with magical energies; potions, wands and spell scrolls are exceptions and work as outlined by paizo. Outside of unique artifacts rings, rods, staves, armor, weapons and wondrous items cannot be conventionally crafted in krona. A new item creation feat will be implemented to support this alteration, Craft Magic Gemstones. The process is further explained in Socketing Gemstones.

SPELL SCROLLS

Spell scrolls are extremely rare in the world of krona; most wizards protect their research ferociously and would rather see it destroyed than stolen. New types of traps have been implemented specifically for the purpose of destroying any spell research that a spell caster wishes to protect.
